Pavle Goranović, Minister of Culture of Montenegro, succeeded Elizabeta Kancheska Milevska, Minister of Culture of Macedonia, as the Chairperson of the FSC Board after three years. In the past he represented Montenegro in the FSC Programme Council.
Goranović, born in Nikšić, is Montenegrin writer, poet and essayist, a member of a number of domestic and foreign organizations and winner of many awards. He is a member of Montenegrin National Council for Culture. From 2003 to 2010 he was advisor to the Prime Minister of Montenegro; from 18 March 2015 he is Minister of Culture of Montenegro.
