Two Ukrainian translators Prof. Nataliya Khoroz and Maryana Klymets spent a month in Ljubljana as guests in the FSC residential programme “Artist in Residence”. The translators come from Lviv where they teach the Slovenian language and literature at the University. While staying in the Slovenian capital they were preparing and compiling materials for an anthology of Slovenian contemporary literature which will be published in Ukraine. For that purpose they had many meeting with Slovenian language experts, publishers and authors, among others Drago Jančar, Barbara Korun and Vlado Žabot. Together with the FSC and Hostel Celica they prepared a lecture A Supressed Revival – a Historical and Literary View of Ukraine between the Two World Wars.
