The Cultural ministers of Slavic countries and their representatives met on November 11 in the Old Montenegro Royal Capital of Cetinje. They discussed the future cooperation and endorsed the work plan for 2014, as well as the implementation plan for the next three years. Next year the FSC will celebrate its 10th anniversary, and therefore 2014 will be full of unique projects.
It was announced that the next Board meeting will be in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2014.
In the framework of the meeting, Ms. Elizabeta Kanchseka – Milevska, the FSC Chairperson, and Ms. Andreja Rihter, the Director of the Forum, donated the 100 Slavic Novels collection to the Montenegro National Library, while Ms. Rihter presented the new translation of Njegoš’s The Ray of the Microcosm into Slovenian to the Montenegro libraries.
The meeting concluded with the opening of the FSC exhibiton “Slavic Capitals in 2D” at the ministerial building, which was attended by the President of the Montenegro National Archives and the Mayor of Cetinje.
