Between the 30 May and the 4 June 2008, the Forum of Slavic Cultures has organized a revue of slavic film in the Flagey centre in Brusselles. This small film festival is hopefully a first of many. It merited a separate internet site, dedicated exclusively to this film festival. The address is: http://slavicfilmfest.eu.

In 2009, on the occassion of the Slovenian presidency over the Council of Europe, the Slavic Film Festival’s location was Strassbourg, where eight Slavic films were presented in the Cinéma Odyssée, October 10-18. However, the plan is to hold it, from now on, annually in Brusels, and from time to time also in individual Slavic capitals.
