Živa Award Presented at the Festival Intermuseum 2017

The FSC presented itself for the first time at the Festival Intermuseum 2017 in Moscow. Immediately after the official opening of the largest museum event of the year, attended by 300 museums from 25 countries, and the address by Vladimir Aristrakhov, the first Deputy of the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, FSC Director Andreja Rihter presented the Živa Award for the best Slavic museum. The festival’s central topic was the Museum of the Future; that is why Ms Rihter, in co-operation with the company Art Rebel9, presented for the first time a new FSC application for the Živa Award – an example of augmented reality.

Intermuseum in Moscow sees more than 35.000 domestic and international visitors and has been organized since 1999 by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
