The 2017 Živa Award Candidates Made Public

After the December deadline for entries for the 2017 Živa Award for the best Slavic museum expired, the Forum of Slavic Cultures reviewed all applications. Altogether it has received 23 of them, as many as four from the Czech Republic, three from Slovenia, the Russian Federation and Croatia, two came from Poland, Serbia and Bulgaria each, whereas one application was sent from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and for the first time also from Belarus.

In March and April the judges will visit all candidates, write reports, and then at the meeting which will be held in Budva (Montenegro) in May decide the winner and the recipients of special recommendations.
